I googled for one title - it was an Apress.com e-book selling for $25.
Surely, if you want the authors to think it worthwhile spending time
bringing books up to date in future, you might prefer to go to the
Apress website and purchase the ebooks. I'd do that rather than
participating in something that many authors probably consider to be
morally equivalent to theft.
And legally. And actually. "Equivalent to" in the sense of "is". And they
likely consider that it is because - it is theft.
So our spamming OP is a thief. A dirty, low-down, stealing, no-account
varmint of a thief.
