The way I've done this in the past is that I used XSLT to transform XML and
display it in a browser.
My reports view is a CHtmlView and load an XML that I create with the data I
want to display, the XML then calls on the XSLT code and generates HTML. I
have expandable/collapsible rows in tables, images, and pretty much nice
formatting with minimal effort.
