One way is to install a registry change notification hook for
the key where you store your settings. Note this is a one shot
notification and you need to reinstall the hook once it triggers.

Hi
My IE toolbar is based on the Microsoft sample KKBar.
I have draw a lot of buttons on it in which some are simply pushDown
buttons and some are dropdowns.Beside this I have Made a Setting
button.By which user can Customize the Buttons on toolbar,means S/He
can select the buttons and deselect the buttons from a Property page.
This information i have placed in Windows registry.When I create the
toolbar i Create the toolbar based on the registry data that which
button i have to appear and to which Button i have to HIde .
I have completely Done it.they appear and disappear properly.
But the trouble starts when i Create the toolbar i can decide From the
registry data that which button i have to make appear and which button
i have to make disappear. If the user Selects the setting and change
the options (suppose he want to display one more button from the
setting),How i can refresh my toolbar to show that button on the same
instance of IE.
Plz if some one knows tell me .i will be thankful to him.Buttons are
displayed when i start another instance of IE,this is just bcoz the
Data in the registry has been changed by the previous instance,But i
want also to be on the instance that is changing the options.
