Not necessarily. Different thread IDs are only guaranteed when
two method calls are executing simultaneously. If one call is
placed after another that finished, the new one can come on the
same thread as the previous method call since the thread is again
available in the thread pool to take calls. However, if one is
certain that two calls are processed simultaneously, printing the
thread IDs should yield different numbers. I'd print the timestamps
when methods start/finish as well in addition to the thread numbers.

The other way to confirm whether or not it is running as free-threaded, is
to display the thread id within the method (perhaps using
OutputDebugString). If the COM object is truly running in an MTA, you will
keep getting different thread id's.
