Thanks For the quick response. I tried on a fresh system and that
didn't help.

If it is already registered and installed locally on the system the
cab is NEVER downloaded and installed to C:\WINDOWS\Downloaded
Program Files in the first place. So the only way for me to see the
problem is if I use IE to download install and register it.

The VERSION is the only attribute that is showing Up. I meant every
other attribute on the VERSION tab is unkown. The Description,
Company, Language, and Copyright. My dll's resource has CompanyName,
LegalCopyright, and FileDescription filled in. I do not see anything
for language though. Perhaps my VERSION_INFO is invalid some how?

To be honest, I've never used Setup and Deployment project, nor OSD
files. I've always hand-written an INF file and built a CAB with makecab
or cabarc. The information in Downloaded Program Files just worked (TM)
for me - I'm not sure why it doesn't for you. Hopefully somebody more
knowledgeable will pick up from here.

As to Lanugage, open Version resource in resource editor, right-click
Block Header and choose Properties. There's a place to specify language
in the Properties window.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is not
necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they are going to
land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them as they fly
overhead. -- RFC 1925
