what is this kind of method called? how can it be invoked from
an instance of a_class? why is there no return type? and why
does it compile? I've tried it with GCC4 and MSVC8 and it seems
to compile.
its a conversion operator specifically if an instance of a_class is
used where an const int is usable it performs operator int() const
such as:
int i = 0;
a_class ac;
// somehow compute ac.i_;
i = ac + 10; // i = ac.i_ + 10;
