If a 'bean' translates to a 'trusted applet', then
maybe, but a better strategy is to use web start.
Or is there any other way to do it?
Offer a link to a signed (all-permissions) JNLP file
(invokes web start) and encourage the end user to
trust you enough to grant it 'full access' to their
computer.
