Its forbidden. The latest Jobsian Edict bans indirect execution, i.e.
using any type of intermediate code interpreter. I suspect this is

Hmm, actually. It would be interesting to see a HotSpot implementation
that converts from JVM ByteCode into JavaScript :-) Then, hopefully the
JavaScript implementation could HotSpot the result even further! Rube
