JList.setModel() from NetBeans
Here's what I want:
public class ListSample {
public static void main(String args[]) {
String labels[] = { "A", "B", "C", "D","E", "F", "G", "H","I", "J" };
String title = "JList Sample";
JFrame f = new JFrame(title);
f.setDefaultCloseOperation(JFrame.EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
JList list = new JList(labels); //Jlist to array!!!!!!
JScrollPane scrollPane = new JScrollPane(list);
Container contentPane = f.getContentPane();
contentPane.add(scrollPane, BorderLayout.CENTER);
f.setSize(200, 200);
f.setVisible(true);
}
}

However, I can't seem to find the button to allow me to edit the
particular code from within NetBeans to accomplish this seemingly simply
task.
Here's what I have:
thufir@arrakis:~/bcit-comp2611-project2/src$
thufir@arrakis:~/bcit-comp2611-project2/src$ cat a00720398/view/Tabs.java
| head -n 86 | tail -n 8
//pre-initialization code@@@@@@@@@@@@@
guestsList.setModel(new javax.swing.AbstractListModel()
{
String[] strings = { "guest 1", "guest 2" };
public int getSize() { return strings.length; }
public Object getElementAt(int i) { return strings[i]; }
});
//post initialization @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
thufir@arrakis:~/bcit-comp2611-project2/src$
thufir@arrakis:~/bcit-comp2611-project2/src$
What I want is:
guestsList.setModel(myArray); //that's it
I'd like to do this from within the GUI builder, just can't figure out
which button to click.
thanks,
Thufir
