I checked everything I could find with google and the news groups. I'm
not concerned about my code since it appears that a popular website
with a java app has the same problems. Perhaps its some sort of a
windows related problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Given a URL, we could find things out. For example, does the problem
only happen on MS-Windows, or does it also happen on UNIX, Solaris, or
Linux?

For that matter, it is entirely possible that two or more programmers
have made similar mistakes, leading to the same symptom in two programs.
For example, Java GUI applications are multi-threaded applications.
Multi-threading can introduce very subtle intermittent problems.

If you cannot post a link to your program, your best bet is to try to
strip it down. Remove everything you can while still preserving the bug.
One of two things will happen:

1. You find that removing something that should be irrelevant makes the
bug go away. That would be *a clue*.

2. You get down to something reasonably small and with no confidential
material but that still produces the bug. In this case, you can put it
up on a web site and post the URL.
