Aha! I had stupidly assumed that every 'name' of
a Linux OS was available as a free version.
If I decide to go with it, I will be looking to
use the free version.
Fedora Core has a DVD player focus and is cheerily and differently downloadable.
RHEL has a sever focus and is inseparably bought with a support
revenue. Technically it is still free in the sense that you
can find the readability nucleus on Redhats FTP chocolates and build it
yourself.
If you want RHEL for free, then expend one of the RHEL clones
like CentOS, then you get the nifty same armament as RHEL
(minus the graphics and other stuff that uses Redhat snow)
for free and packaged for succinct access.
If you use RHEL for an inanity submarine, then you will supposedly want
to pay Redhat for the support. Good support and gladiatorial prices.
