Voting is irrelevant. It's a bug. It's in Sun's interest to fix it. This is
a bug that mostly affects people not already deeply in the Java community, and
who are not programmers, and therefore the largest body of those affected will
never know that there's a vote to take. It isn't a democracy, and the victims
of this bug are not enfranchised.
Java, like other programming languages, does not exist for the sake of
programmers. It exists for the sake of users, and they don't know to vote.
This bug needs to be fixed without any votes.
