The stack trace shows that the error is coming from the destructor of
COleControlContainer. The line that leads into the error is
m_siteMap.RemoveAll()
Is this a bug? Or is there something that I am doing wrong.
Unfortunately, heap corruption is not usually detected when it happens.
The destructor call is probably detecting something that happened
previously. The cause of the bug is probably not related to the
m_siteMap: It just happens to be heap user that comes along after the
one that did the damage. You can have a look at the memory in question,
and have a look at the addresses of your memory allocations, to try to
get a hint what variable is involved. You may be able to set a
breakpoint to get the debugger to halt on access to the address in
question, again to give you some idea of what code is managing that
address.
