strict grammar, they should not contain implementation and only
declaration. Since they both source from IUnknown, so the only
implementation should be in class CA, so there should not be any
ambiguity issue?
There ain't no such thing as an "interface" in C++. To the C++ compiler,
there's class IUnknown, two classes IX and IY derived from IUnknown, and
class CA derived from both IX and IY. Conversion from CA to IUnknown is
ambiguous, because there are two subobjects of type IUnknown inside an
instance of CA. What exactly is inside IUnknown is irrelevant. It could
be empty, for all the compiler cares.
