So far my memory still works for that. I know what books I've already
purchased. Good thing there are lots of options available :o)

I tried Outlook Calendar; the experiment lasted about a week. I found that
I needed
something that was with me all the time; it had to be with me, not I had
to be with it.
I'm constantly checking my appointments and making updates, and most of
the time when this
happens I'm not in front of the computer. I keep my appointments in a
little book I carry
in my pocket. I tried PDAs, but they were not terribly reliable, and the
batteries were
constantly being in a run-down state. My little book has a power supply
that lasts an
entire year. It's called "my index finger" and I use it to scroll through
the pages...

I have a PDA which has my book collection on it, and I take it with me
when I go book
shopping so I don't buy duplicates. Except for the fact that there are
about 500 books I
haven't had time to put in the database, it works fine (I'm working on
that; I'm now doing
about 5 books a night, so expect to get them all in within a few months)
