Hi Jeff,

Seems to me like it would be a lot of extra work for you to retype in the
subject lines each time. What news reader are you using? Does it create
the new subject lines for you? You said, "Every post I make will have a new
title, that's life." Is it a restriction of your news reader that you can't
simply reply to a post? I don't really care since I come here often enough
to remember what happened earlier in the day or within the last few days,
but I'm curious about this restriction in your newsgroup reader that
requires you to type in a new subject line each time.

I got the point that your reader is able to maintain the threads with the
retitled subjects (I saw your post on that). I'm just curious as I've never
heard of X.EXE.

Regarding the Unicode characters in the title,
Outlook has problems finding the right font...
Google/FireFox and my newsreader handle it just fine.

Anywho... Thanks for you input Duane.

I think you're saying that you follow threads via
titles that you happen to remember,
having essentially deleted already read articles.

You told me:
" Why would you assume that I am not able to
 " solve a problem " that you created ? ".

Every post I make will have a new title, that's life.
I don't use Outlook, nor do I " delete " posts like you do.

My newsreader ( X.EXE ) lists all " players " ( a.k.a. people )
who have " unread " posts,
starting with those who I converse with the most.
