That cool look is called a theme. There are a couple of steps to make your
application use theming. In general:

1. Your app should be a Unicode application.
2. You need to include a manifest resource. Visual Studio 2005 will generate
one for you automatically.
3. You need to add text to the resource that tells Windows to use theming.
You can find information on this at http://www.mathies.com/weblog/?p=225
(thanks to David Lowndes).

Dear all,
When I open the dialog boxes of my application in the Visual studio 2005
in
the dialog editor, all the controls are cool and the buttons look like
glass!
just like they are in the VS2005 IDE...
But when I compile the application and run it, nothing special comes up in
my application dialog boxes!
What's up with that???
Is there any way I can make them like they seem to be in the dialog
editor?
Thanks all
Srishti
