I typically do the following:

1. Open the RC File from the old project while the new project's solution is
opened. Thsi should open the RC file as a regular window, but you'll still
see the tree.
2. Open the RC File from the new project (do File/Open and browse to it),
but instead of just clicking Open, click the drop down on the Open button
and choose Open with. This should open the resources for the current dialog
it a file window as well (you'll still see the tree).
3. Move one or the other to a new horizontal tab so you can see both at
once.
4. Drag resources from the old to the new.
5. Close the old one, but DON'T SAVE it since you want to make sure it stays
intact.
6. Copy any code you need for dialogs or other features.

Hello

I have a dialog in a project in VC++ v6 which took me ages. I want to
insert this dialog into another VC++ project. How do I do that?
