Tony,

Are you saying you can not even redisplay it if you pick View/Resource View
from the menu? If so, are you sure it's not around somewhere and perhaps
just slid off the screen in one of those hockey windows (or whatever they're
called)? Also, I don't know if this would help, but since it's there for
other projects, maybe you could delete the NCB and SUO files, and other temp
files, for that particular project and see if reopening it would work.

This is a weird one, you're right.

My problem is NOT fixed and your suggestion is impossible. Please read
below...

In the Workspace window, If I right click on the "FileView" tab, I get a
context menu that has entries for "ClassView" and "FileView". They are
both checked. There is **ZERO** menu entry for "ResourceView". It is not
there at all. Since it is not there I can not enable it or "check" it
since it does NOT exist.

Like I said in another thread. I am thinking that the program, for some
reason, does not think the project is MFC... Or something.

I can open other projects and they have a ResourceView tab and the context
menu shows an option for ResourecView. If I reopen the goofy project the
tab and the menu option does not exist.

It baffles me.

So, ask it to show the resource view.

Right click on the tabs, and make sure the "Resource View" menu item is
checked.

Note that there are multiple incompatible versions of VS out here, VS6,
VS2002, VS2003,
VS2005, VS2008 and some even have the CTP of VS10. It is absolutely
critical that you
state which version of VS you are using when you are asking a VS-specific
question.

I don't understand what you wrote or my version of Visual C++ is not the
same as yours. I am using version 6.

My "View" menu does NOT have a "Resource" entry.

In one of my projects the ResourceView tab in the Workspace window is
missing. I don't know why or how. The project builds fine and I can
see the window if I open the .rc file "Resources".

My other projects appear normally. Only the one project is goofy.

How can I get the ResourceView tab back?
