It seems very clear to me.
No, I will not agree to differ with you, because that would imply I accept
your opinion has some validity. As my goal is to help you understand, that
would be doing a disservice to you.
(I showed it to some other
professional programmers who read it the same way as I do and asked
where the h___ this guy learnt about concurrency.)
That kind of cheap shot is impossible to challenge, and a
professional doesn't resort to childish games involving anonymous
supporters.
Well they aren't participating in this discussion and they don't
subscribe to this forum. It was just in parenthesis.
What the heck difference does being in parens make? Listen, when you say
things like that, people assume you're a liar, or at best, the
"professionals" you claim to have spoken with are as clueless as you are.
It is a desperate, pathetic attempt to save face, that is frustrating to
fair, honest people, because it's impossible to challenge. It doesn't even
rise to the level of hearsay. That's why it's mocked with things like, "The
lurkers support me in email":
<q>
To the tune of "My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean":
The Lurkers support me in e-mail
They all think I'm great don't you know.
You posters just don't understand me
But soon you will reap what you sow.
Lurkers, lurkers, lurkers support me, you'll see, you'll see
Off in e-mail the lurkers support me, you'll see.
The lurkers support me in e-mail
"So why don't they post?" you all cry
They're scared of your hostile intentions
They just can't be as brave as I.
Lurkers, lurkers, lurkers support me, you'll see, you'll see
Off in e-mail the lurkers support me, you'll see.
One day I'll round up all my lurkers
We'll have a newsgroup of our own
Without all this flak from you morons
My lurkers will post round my throne.
Lurkers, lurkers, lurkers support me, you'll see, you'll see
Off in e-mail the lurkers support me, you'll see.

Here's a free clue, which based on your past behavior, I don't expect you
to understand: The appropriate response is for you to apologize and retract
your cheap shot.
Did it register in any way that several professionals *here* have
told you that you misinterpreted what I said?
As I replied to you elsewhere it registered that several hadn't yet
grasped the flaw; and if I misinterpreted it it was because it wasn't
rigorously clear.
So, in your mind, people who understand these things far better than you do
are all wrong. Gotcha. Like I said elsewhere, it is pointless to continue
trying to reason with you, because nothing penetrates your arrogance or
obtuseness or whatever it is that is impeding your understanding.
