Re: Method called in DLL housing but not in EXE housing
Can you give some specifics? What is the interface, what is its
method that isn't called, when is it supposed to be called, what
is it supposed to do? Does the third party application work
even when not calling this method?

Ok, this is driving me nuts.
I have an ATL COM server that I've created that is going to be used by
a 3rd party application. This 3rd party application requires that I
implement several interfaces so it can let me know how the user is
interacting with the application. One last point, I need the COM
server to be housed inside an EXE. All this is pretty standard and no
big deal.
The problem is that there is a particular method call on one of the
interfaces that never gets called when the COM server is housed inside
an EXE but always gets called when the COM server is housed inside a
DLL.
So my question is simple: What would be some reasons (any reason) for
the behavior described above?
