Not the (webstart) application cache viewer?

Well, yes and no. It launches, as a JWS application, the utility named
"Java Preferences". Among that program's several (tabbed) panes
(mentioned above) is one to manage the JWS cache, along with a button
that leads to a view of cached JWS applications. That view is
indistinguishable from one seen when launching the separate utility
named "Java Web Start". The latter is the default application for files
having the ".jnlp" extension. As a general security measure, jnpl files
are included among those that Safari may be told not to open
automatically.

Wait, I took pictures:

OK, the Windows experience would have your second
screen shot (the JWS cache viewer) opening
automatically over the first (JCP/Java Preferences).

I wish there were ways to configure the player JNLP
to open to any part of the JCP by ..providing delimited
strings (or whatever) to indicate the controls. It would
probably only be of benefit to developers (especially
working remotely) and deployers of applets and webstart
apps., but gee it would be handy.
