Re: Popup Menu Does Not Update

Hi -

I have read through the previous postings about similar issues, but I'm
really new to this and am still having trouble understanding, so I hope
someone can help.

I have a menu bar that has several items across the top of my window
(File, Edit, View, etc.) From the "View" menu, by hovering over one of
the items, the user can get an additional level of menu of which only
one item can be checked at a time. I am using SetCheck in
ON_UPDATE_COMMAND_UI to update which item from this popup menu is
checked, however when I re-open the View menu after changing the
checked item, the checkmark does not actually move to the selected item
until I glide the mouse over the items. Note that everything is
functioning correctly and that the rest of my code is aware that the
selection has changed, it is just that visibly the checkmark has not
moved to the correct item in the menu.

I am unclear on what step(s) I need to take to update my menu bar so
that the checkmark moves to the right item.
