Re: Dialog group text label on windows Taskbar
Are you trying to say that your child dialog has the WS_EX_APPWINDOW flag
set, and when it comes up the taskbar shows a separate button for it, and
when there are too many of those it grouped them into one button, and you
want to know where the taskbar gets the caption it uses for the grouped
button?
If so then it gets the name from the Description field in the version
information of the exe.

Hi
I have a CDialog base app. When I start it, the caption from the dialog
window is written on the Windows task bar as expected.
When the main dialog opens another non modal dialog, the text on the app's
taskbar button is changed to a "group" text label, and the list of
icons/labels from the open dialogs are listed above when the taskbar
button is pressed.
Where do I define which "group" label my app should use on the taskbar?
Very best regards
Tage
