Hi Matthias,
I can't argue that training is very important in this industry, but I've
seen some brilliant programmers make some pretty basic mistakes over the
years. I welcome any help I can get from the compiler so long as it doesn't
restrict me from telling it to go ahead and do what I told it to do if I
meant to tell it to do it.

I'd like to see more competent programmers that use their brains, rather
than blaming a lack of tools for their poorly written code. [Of course I
am fully aware that this already applies to everyone in this thread...
