Who in their right mind would use OE for anything?
I suggest you take a look at some proper newsreader applications and see
how much better life can be.

Even a lousy newsreader on NNTP is better than web-based forums.
[I have personally not used OE; I use the newsreader in SeaMonkey (Mozilla
Suite). This is not a great newsreader, but it works for me, and I like having
browser, mail and news in an integrated application.]
