Hmmm. I'm using 2005, but I see them and there is one for string that is
defaulted to a kind of red. Perhaps someone still running 2003 could
validate that it was in that code.

Hi All,

I am really new to programming and this is my first post to any forums of
this sort. I have a silly issues I am facing, these are more related to
visual studio than programming so thought this might be a good place to
ask
help(ofcourse if I am at the wrong place do let me know where to move
this); -

1. I am learning to program in C++, and lot of the codes which I am
learning
with have strings in them. I know there is an option in visual studio
environment to display strings in the text editor in diffrent colors but I
dont see settings for text editor when I go to
Tools->Otions->Environment->Fonts and Colors. I have installed VS 2003
from
the same disk on my desktop as well as laptop. Text editor settings are
shown
in my laptop but not in my desktop. I tried to repair the installation too
but nothing works. HELP?? Also I have tried to uninstall and reinstall but
still does the same....

Thanks in advance
